Yesterday, I applied for an event job nearby my housing area, in Kota Permai Golf Club. The main scope of the job is just to serve drinks for practically err.. whole day? But the pay was reasonable so I applied lah.
Somehow, I'm nervous. This is the first time I'm applying for an event job, which might require me to be sociable and have good communication skills. Well, I'm totally the opposite of those two. And yet, I still have the guts to apply for such job.
GEez, have I lost my mind?? I'm not the kind of person where I will persuade you to buy, or in short, not persuasive. Not aggressive. Not having a good temperament. Have the take-it-or-leave-it concept burried in my mindset.
They emailed me today and asked me for my profile (which I don't even know what to add in..?? name? age? occupation? must I need to give you my height and all?!) And some half body and full body pictures (boy I am so possessive and feared that they might do something to my face, choi~choi~~)
After that, I felt chills on my spine. Seriously, though it says that I only need to serve drinks, but gosh. GOsh~ if they need me to sell a drink or something, sorrylah. I rather lose my dignity and reject the job and stay at home and slack.. Meanie me, but that's just me, I just can't seem to have a business minded mind. Or rather, a promoter- I really don't like the feeling of rejection and being ignored like I'm a stray dog that barks and some will even tend to get mad due to my 'barking'.
Somebody, anybody that did an event job before, do let me know, if that is the kind of mindset I need to have, or have some body-to-die-for to kill some mens, but so unfortunately I don't have either of it, that makes me feel that I had made the wrong move choosing these type of job to work during my sem break.
Or maybe, just may be.. I should just stick to my good ol' fashion job that I did one and the half years ago. At least, that one.. I can say.. I don't mind doing it twice, than trying something new once. hmm. Hmmmmmm~~~
And the story ends like this...period.
