First thing first.... I actually yahoo-ed some questions on the search page... and I found this particular person.. wrote a very nice english questions... that we often took it for granted... here it goes.. :

There is no egg in eggplant or ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins were not invented in England nor french fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce, and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So, one moose, 2 meese? One index, two indices? Is cheese the plural of choose? If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?

In what language do people recite at a play, and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? Park on driveways and drive on parkways? How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell another? When a house burns up, it burns down. You fill in a form by filling it out and an alarm clock goes off by going on. When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this answer, I end it?

Very well written isn't it? Got you wondering why English is so freaking complicated? Yes, indeed. Up to now I still haven't gotten any clue how to master my english perfectly. I think the only person who can score perfect english is to those who studies english for their degree or masters.. lol...

On the other hand, another different topic I would like to talk.

I just found out that the girl that I expected the last person to get pregnant, got pregnant and it's already her 3rd trimester.. Almost conceiving. Oh-mi-gosh. She was my ex school mate, I've always thought that she is the sensitive type because she always love to cry even though the teachers did not even scold or lead her to embarrassment. And she is sort of like the quiet and reserved type. I've always thought that she is the type where she will wait until marriage to get a baby.

Well, turns out to be, looks and attitude may deceive us, or wait, I mean me. So much so for thinking that she is that type that I thought she would be. Even when I saw her pictures of her clubbing makes me feel like Oo.. she do club...but...now... she is becoming a mother now at the tender age of 21. I think she is the first that I know got pregnant in my ex school. Wow, but her parents and friends are joyous about it. So that makes me think again, if I were in her shoes, probably I would be happy to born my child too.

But talking about the studies that I have to uphold, the struggle to compromise time for being a mom, a girlfriend, a daughter, a friend and a student... wouldn't it be hard?

Regardless, I praised her for being so strong and taking the baby that she is bearing as a very wonderful thing, because at this very age, most of the time people would go for abortion to avoid humiliation, or disgrace, or even look down upon by thier peers and parents. You go girl!

But if for me, I don't really like a child for now. I am not ready. Only planning to get a child if I'm financially stable along with my stable job. Until then, probably I will be an old mom for my child. LOL.
