And so today I got my so-called experience of a police stopping me.
Yeah, you heard me. There was a road block and I didn't realised... they saw me holding a phone (yes, I was on the phone) and unfortunately for me, they caught me red-handed.
So there I was, stopping at the side of the road when a police man pointed at me, telling me to go to the side and wait for a police to come and attend me. In my mind I was like ''Blardy me, why am I so careless this time eh... haih shit.. gotta pay RM300 and my parents gonna nag and scold me non stop for getting summon for the 2nd time... zzz''
And so the police man approached my car and asked for my driving licence. So I gave him, unwillingly but what can I do? So here's the conversation that he and I had brought up lol.
Police : Oo.. Tahu tak kesalahan kamu? Kamu telah melanggar peraturan kerana menggunakan telefon bimbit semasa memandu.
Me : Ya, saya tahu, saya mengaku.. memang saya mengguna telefon bimbit I.. Nak tanya sikit, ''loud speaker'' pun tak boleh ar?
Police : Kalau anda mengguna satu tangan untuk memegang telefon dah kira satu kesalahan.
** Let it be the rest in english la kay? easier that way... for both you and I lol... but the conversation between the police and me are all purely malay.**
Me : Oh okay.. fine..
Police : You don't have any headphones with you ar?
Me : No, not here... didn't bring...
Police : Where are you heading?
Me : Heading to see my mom lor...
Police : So how are you going to settle this problem huh?
Me : *Checks my wallet and OMG only left RM3 with me!! * Arr.. umm.. sorry.. I don't
have sufficient money to actually settle this problem the other way.. T_T
Police : *Looks at my wallet and giggled* ... But you have your workers pass with you, how can you not have money...
Me : Huh? What workers pass?? OHh...you mean the one I'm wearing on my lanyard? It's a student pass... -.-
Police : Oooh... so where you studying? what are you studying as?
Me : IMU lo.. pharmacy... Aiyar, please le sir... can you give me one more chance? If lets say I commit the same mistake again, then you can summon me lo.. for now can you give me a chance ar... It's kinda hard to pay RM300 ... quite pricey! *Showed my most innocent, pure, big eyed face to him*
Police : Ok laa... fine, you can go now...
Me : Tqtqtq~~!! *drives away*
Morale of the story is :
1) Be honest with your mistakes
2) Engage a conversation with the police
3) Act like you don't have money & Be a student
4) Act innocent
5) Give your most innocent, purest, angelic look possible
6) Hope for the best.
In the end, he gave me chance and I was set free!
And the story ends like this...period.
